Hurricane Helene’s impact on my area was minimal. No flooding or wind damage but local sewage treatment plant was down for 24 hours.
Fortunately I was privileged to receive a liberal arts education – which, even though frowned upon these days and will, Trump promises if elected, be phased out entirely along with the Department of Education – nevertheless emphasizes creativity and life-enhancing resourcefulness.
The solution to my plumbing problem was a no-brainer.
Others were not so fortunate. Home interiors were gutted in Northeast St. Petersburg adjacent to where I often take Bartleby to play.
