Tzuri has a virtual (online) friend, Tidda, who lives in Oregon, not far from our favorite spot to visit along the coast of Northern California.

Tidda, part Australian Cattle Dog, recently suffered through the harrowing experience of being lost near Gold Beach for almost a month before she was eventually found stranded on an island in the middle of the Rogue River.

Hers is a story by turns terrifying and inspiring. Distraught nearly to the breaking point, Claudia nevertheless dug deep to marshal resources and employ strategies that ultimately, with the generous help of her local community, resulted in a happy reunion.

Tzuri insists that we share this feel-good story with you on both her WordPress site (Tzuri) as well as mine (Giblets & Flapdoodle)- and is also adamant that when you finish watching please hug your pet and toss them a treat, or two.
