A 44-second Wildlife Fix: BIGHORN SHEEP

Photo editing software has improved exponentially over the years. So much so that it’s actually fun to go back and tinker with old images.
Editing can’t turn a poor image into a wall hanger but sometimes a good image can become a little bit better.
Here are a few coyote pictures that I have revisited, re-edited, and re-purposed into a brief slideshow.

In 2008 I drove over 2,500 miles from Naples, Florida to Livingston, Montana.
Why?
Livingston is a former railroad town just a blip on the map today, with a population of barely 8000 rugged souls who mostly lean too far right for my taste.
But it did nourish and boast as a resident one of my favorite writers, Jim Harrison – and what’s a week’s drive to check it out, anyway?
Astonishingly, I discovered that Livingston has a vibrant underground arts scene.
And while there I not only fell in love with Livingston – a place I would return to many times over the years – but also became addicted to cross-country photo road trips.
